I'm very sorry I haven't been around much... I've been trying to catch up on some things. Such as my training and attempting to try and get through the paperwork and research done on the island we're on... I apologize to anyone who's been affected by my absence.

However, if need be, I'm still willing to train anyone who's interested in learning how to handle a sword, I hear there may be some meitous on this island, so if anyone would like to join me for a while looking for them, they are welcome.

I meant what I said. I never intended to treat you as anything but my ensign and perhaps a friend. I'm not going to pretend I handle relationships of any kind well and I'm sure you know that both from dealing with me the last four years yourself and Hina could assure you until she's blue in the face. I don't know how it seems I treated you or maybe how I did because it wasn't my intention.

It's not that I don't see you as an adult Tashigi. Just as it's not that I don't see Allen, Rinali, and Lavi as capable fighters no matter what their ages.

Tashigi you didn't make me leave. I chose to leave because I needed space and time to think alone.

I realize, likewise in my case and I apologize I pushed you to that end. Unfortunately I cannot promise I will not keep making the same mistakes simply as I cannot visibly tell what I did wrong. So perhaps it's best if I just keep things professional in order to give you the space you wish.

I know. If she'll be happier alone I won't stop her. But she's making herself miserable and told Zenigata she's still in love with me. I can't stand by and do nothing either. It's not justice.

I'm not abandoning, you'll be able to reach me online and I'm taking work with me. I just have to know that she'll be safe and happy before I can get back to my life.

Please, if you get into any trouble, let me know. I will send reinforcements, or I'll come myself. Despite you being older and more stronger, there are always bigger obstacles to face. Allow me to at least help in anyway that I can.

Of course but it's a mild island. We're here to make sure pirates don't disrupt their busiest tourist season of the year so I'll be making rounds and bringing back pirates as I see fit but I doubt anything major will develop.

I have Happy with me. If something does, he has orders to fly back to the ship and inform you.

Don't worry about the "seedier" parts of this city. If pirates are looking for trouble it'll be on the docks or the tourist area. Enjoy yourself while you have the chance.
