I'm very sorry I haven't been around much... I've been trying to catch up on some things. Such as my training and attempting to try and get through the paperwork and research done on the island we're on... I apologize to anyone who's been affected by my absence.

However, if need be, I'm still willing to train anyone who's interested in learning how to handle a sword, I hear there may be some meitous on this island, so if anyone would like to join me for a while looking for them, they are welcome.

Nico Robin suspects our ship in particular might be being specifically targeted as we have had a higher number of incidents. You have the file on the investigation I did at the sources, it appears to be somewhere closer to us on the line but I refuse to suspect anyone on my ship of tampering with supplies.

Yes. Devil fruits are permanent. These only seem to last a week at most, occasionally shorter.

I doubt that. They were originally grown by an ex-shichibukai Crocodile. Which may very well be the reason our ship seems to have a higher targeting.

A cursed fruit. In exchange for eating one you get a power; smoke in my case, rubber for Straw-Hat, the ability to blossom parts of her body like a flower for Nico Robin, leopard zoan for Lucci -- but you'll never be able to swim and you'll always be weak to the ocean.

The "present" I want isn't going to come, as the person I'd want to "receive" it from is obviously avoiding me and my calls.

But, that's fine. If you need a hint as to what to get me, just get me sword polish or some supplies to keep my Shigeru cleaned and of the like.

I'm sorry to hear that, Tashigi... But don't think that way. A lot of people consider this time of year to be a season for hope. You never know what might happen.

Sword cleaner? I'll see what I can do.

Color... Well, I like blue. But just as long as it can keep my neck warm, that's what matters. You don't need to go out of your way to get me something expensive, like Burberry or something. A simple scarf would just do me fine.
